- Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": Basically, all the foreign-language dubs are this, since the original show was never broadcasted outside Asia.
- Newbie Boom: The anime adaptation got many viewers interested in Kamen Rider W and the entire Kamen Rider franchise.
- No Dub for You: Defied like hell in the Latin American Spanish dub: Originally, there weren't any plans to dub this show to Spanish, partly because both the Kamen Rider franchise is basically obscure in Latin America, despite attempts to bring many parts of it to the regionnote and because the show requires had already watched Kamen Rider Double to understand some plot points. For some unexplained reason, however, it was later announced that the animated adaptation will have a Latin American Spanish dub. This is in stark contrast with Brazil, as a local dub was announced since day one, as both Kamen Rider and Tokusatsu are more popular there than in Spanish-speaking countries. On the other hand, the Gaia Memories are still voiced in Japanese in most foreign dubs.
- No Export for You: The manga's been made available in Chinese, Indonesian and Japanese.
- Playing Against Type: No one expected Miku Itō, who previously voiced Lovekov in Kamen Rider Revice to voice an Ax-Crazy high-ranking Dopant.
- Role Reprise:
- From the W cast's appearance in KAMEN RIDER: memory of heroez, Yoshimasa Hosoya returns as Shotaro Hidari, Kōki Uchiyama returns as Philip and Makoto Furukawa returns as Ryu Terui.
- And from the original show, Fumihiko Tachiki as The Narrator and Computer Voice of the Double Driver and Gaia Memories, including the new Gaia Memories exclusive to this series.
- Similarly, the voice actor of Mick the cat, Yasuhiro Takato, also returns, now also voicing his inner monologues as well.
- Sequel in Another Medium: It is a manga, itself adapted into an anime, which acts as a sequel to a live action series.
- The Danza: Daisuke Ono voices Daisuke Kanamori, who is actually Yukiji Bando.
- You Sound Famillar: Yoshimasa Hosoya and Makoto Furukawa voiced Monsters of the Week in OOO and Ghost While Daisuke Ono and Kōki Uchiyama previously voiced Teddy in Kamen Rider Den-O and Desast in Kamen Rider Saber. Miku Itō, meanwhile, though not playing a regular character this time around, had just come from being Lovekov in the then-recently concluded Kamen Rider Revice.
