- Invisible Advertising: The Switch port of Espgaluda II got coverage on Nintendo's June 2021 E3 Nintendo Direct Stream in Japan (alongside Switch ports of Mushihime-sama and DoDonPachi Resurrection), but received no promotion whatsoever from Nintendo's North American and European branches.
- Late Export for You: Although Espgaluda II received a simultaneous Japan and oversease release for iPhone in 2010, North American and European players had to wait 11 years for a localized console release (and with it, the Novice, Black Label, Arrange, and Omake modes).
- No Export for You: The first game was never released outside of Japan. The Xbox 360 version of Espgaluda II is also Japan-only, although it has no region locks.
- Sequel First: Espgaluda II was localized for export markets, but not the first game.
