- Acting for Two: Many of the voice actors played more than one character, most notably John Stocker & Len Carlson.
- John Stocker voiced both Longarm and his dad Mickey.
- Happened frequently with the late Len Carlson, who in addition to voicing Big Boss, Mace, & Sundown often voiced numerous recurring or one shot characters, such as Small Guy & Mayor Davis.
- Blooper:
- At the end of "The Case of the Baby Badguys Return" Small Guy says a line using Snub Nose's voice.
- Children Voicing Children: Depending on the episode, Brian O'Malley was voiced by either Noam Zylberman or Michael Fantini.
- Dueling Shows:
- More of a Dueling Merchandise with the toys from Kenner's Police Academy: The Animated Series; just look at the gimmicks of both toylines.
- The same with Kenner's RoboCop line, as both featured cap-firing gimmicks.
- Missing Episode: Episodes 40-48 have been taken off the CONtv website, and have yet to return as of this writing.
- The Other Darrin: As noted above, Brian O'Malley went back and forth between being voiced by Noam Zylberman and Michael Fantini.
- Show Accuracy/Toy Accuracy:
- Mace's colors are completely inverted, going from a blue/white attire with orange padding to an orange attire with blue padding.
- Taser is a blond, clean-shaven white man in the cartoon and a bald black man with a handlebar moustache in the action figure line.
- Also, Hardtop had brown hair in the cartoon and black hair in the comic.
- The Crooks barely resemble their toy counterparts thanks to vast exaggerations on the part of the animators.
- Studio Hop: Though the series is animated by DiC, the commercials were animated by TMS Entertainment, contracted by Hasbro and DC Comics themselves.
- What Could Have Been: Hasbro planned a third series of action figures (and two cap-firing backpacks) for 1990, but they were cancelled due to declining sales. Click here for general info on the third series, and click these◊ links◊ to see catalog photos that show the unreleased figures along with figures from the second series.
- Had the Unit:E crossover project gotten off the ground, Agent Fowler from Transformers: Prime would've been injured and rebuilt as that continuity's version of Bulletproof Vess.
