- The Cast Showoff: The default for this series, but special attentions should go to Paul McCrane, who has performed on many TV shows, even co-writing a song for the 1980 version of Fame and Ronny Cox, himself a successful singer/songwriter with several albums to his credit. Say what you will about the concept, but never let it be said that its cast didn't have talent.
- Colbert Bump: The series received renewed attention in 2021 after being featured in an episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
- Follow the Leader: Oddly enough, though the best well known, this was not the only show in the 1990-91 season to attempt to mix genres with music. An NBC show called Hull High (which featured future Roundhouse castmates Alfred Carr, Micki Duran, Ivan Dudynsky and Bryan Anthony) tried to mix music with high school comedy - and it wasn't the last show to do so - and an unsold pilot ultimately burned off on The CBS Summer Playhouse called Shangra-La Plaza tried to mix music with a sitcom about an outdoor strip mall.
