• Blooper: The actors make many flubs, but James Nguyen refuses to do a second take.
  • Nguyen can be heard giving instructions on camera in one scene. It's not edited out.
• Corpsing: Thomas Favaloro reportedly kept mugging idiotically to see what James Nguyen would allow him to do. At one point, Whitney Moore, who admitted she knew she was in a trainwreck in the first film, laughs at it out of character.
• Parody Retcon: Sometimes shows a tinge of this, as they do things similar to their first movie as what feels like a joke.
• Production Posse: Patsy van Ettinger (Nat's mom) has appeared in every film by Nguyen.
• Throw It In!: Whitney Moore ad-libbed a lot of lines to see what she could get away with, such as "It's been a while since you went down on me." Answer: everything.
• You Look Familiar: The movie producers are played by the same actors who played the executives from Rod's old company from the first film.
