Trivia: Betterman
  • Betterman was the first anime to be broadcast in 16:9 ratio (letterbox) format.
  • Hey, It's That Voice!: Done by Blue Water Stuidos.
  • Tuckerization: In Episode 18, there's a wine bottle with the name "Sunrise" on it.
  • Sequel First: Betterman was released in America years before GaoGaiGar was imported to the States. Or widely known. (Both series share the same universe).
  • Talking to Himself: In the English dub, Jonathan Love voices both Lamia and Shou. Both characters end up meeting each other in Episode 12.
  • Vindicated by Cable: Betterman was obscure when it first came to America. The Tech TV broadcast is the major reason why so many even know about the series at all.
