- All-Star Cast: The English cast is mostly unknown aside from a few. However, for the Japanese dub, Tencent really used its budget to hire various stellar voice actors to do MOBA lines. From veterans across the ages like Takaya Hashi, Hikaru Midorikawa, Kikuko Inoue, Hōchū Ōtsuka, Fumihiko Tachiki, Takahiro Sakurai, Masakazu Morita, Fumiko Orikasa, Tomokazu Sugita, Yōko Hikasa, Reina Ueda, Tomoaki Maeno and a lot more...
- Banned in China: The game used to have an Indian server that was thriving, until suddenly, the server got taken down and the game banned, because the Indian government thought it was portraying several Hindu Gods negatively: Kahlii was based on the Goddess Kali, but she was put as an abyssal Lokheim member; while Chaugnar is an Cthulhuesque bipedal mammoth and was due to a rework to a more majestic elephant, but this caused the Indian people to think that he's a misinterpretation of Ganesha. Tencent decided that the legal battle for them is not worth it and took down the Indian server for it.
- Dueling Games: Forms up one with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, as both are the top mobile MOBA games with analog controls and using engine borrowed from League of Legends. AOV still has its own dedicated fanbase and tries to spread beyond Asia, while MLBB concentrates more on Asian regions but had a massive advertising advantage while also having mostly Lighter and Softer gameplay, while AOV, despite its simplicity, contains depths that incentives strategy even more. In a sense, it feels like the mobile version of Dota 2 vs League of Legends (with AOV being considered the Dota analogue despite being vastly simplified than it), but thankfully, the vitriol between the two wasn't as severe as their PC compatriots.
- No Dub for You: If you play in any versions that do not speak in English, then the DC characters (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, The Joker) will always speak English, they won't be dubbed in any other languages.
- The Other Darrin: While most skins that was dubbed in Japanese in the international version retained their voice in the Japanese server, in there, Kazuya Nakai got replaced for the Bloodthirst Ryoma skin (he still had the job of voicing Ormarr, though).
- Playing Against Type: Faye Mata usually voices higher-pitched characters. In her role as Amily, she instead sports a Baritone of Strength, very unusual from her normal style.
- What Could Have Been:
- Plans were made about another DC hero to be put in the game: Aquaman. Tencent already prepared his model and would have him be the port of Sun Ce from Honor of Kings. Unfortunately, no further news has come about this piece of info, and with the DC contract being pulled off, the plans for Aquaman is scrapped. However, Sun Ce's kit is still transferred to Bijan.
- During the earlier beta-testing before his release, Zuka has a different kit and his ultimate would've been taken from Honor of Kings' Athena (temporary shield before it explodes). That doesn't make it out of testing phase, and when Zuka was released, he has an original kit.
- There were plans to at least rework Chaugnar into a white, majestic elephant that would make him move beyond 'Cthulhu-esque Eldritch Abomination with elephant head'. Nothing was heard from that plan after its announcement, and Chaugnar is still stuck in his original form.
