Tear Jerker / Princess Agents

• Yuwen Huai and his friends kill all the maids until Chu Qiao and Curly are the last surviving ones. Just when it looks like they'll be killed too, a soldier fires the signal for the end of the hunt. None of the hunters are allowed to shoot now. For a minute Chu Qiao thinks they've both escaped. Then she realises Curly isn't following her. She looks back... and sees Yuwen Huai has shot Curly.
• Lin Xi is framed for trying to poison Yuwen Yue's grandfather. So Yuwen Yue kills him without giving him a chance to defend himself, then throws his body into the fire. Chu Qiao arrives just in time to see Lin Xi's death.
• Yuan Chun learns about the plot against Yan Xun. She tries to sneak out of the palace and warn him. Unfortunately her mother catches her. She refuses to let her leave no matter how much Yuan Chun begs. Yuan Chun is dragged back into the palace, helpless and unable to deliver her warning.
• While they're in prison Yan Xun tells Chu Qiao about his family, how happy he was in Northern Yan, and what they'll do when he returns. Unknown to him his entire family except for his mother have been murdered. His mother is waiting outside the palace, unable to visit him or tell him what's happened.
  • He finally reunites with his mother... when he's badly injured, and shortly before she commits suicide.
• Yan Xun sets his revenge plan into action right before his wedding was supposed to happen. Yuan Chun realises something has gone horribly wrong and tries to get her father to call off the wedding. He doesn't, so she runs to find Yan Xun. When she finally finds him he bluntly tells her he doesn't love her and is going home to Northern Yan. He rides off without looking back while Yuan Chun sobs and yells his name.
