  • In Chapter 43, Alec references Watchmen when Hakoda is confused about designating Omashu, currently occupied by the Fire Nation, as their rendezvous point:
    Alec: Bumi isn't locked in Omashu with the Fire Nation. The Fire Nation is locked in Omashu with Bumi.
  • In Chapter 45, Jeong Jeong has this to say when he sees Alec's fireworks trolling message to Ozai.
