A four toed paw pad who is the host of Battle of the Breeds- Berserk Button: Do not interrupt him when he's talking.
- Big Brother Mentor: Is this to his co-host TV.
- Disney Death
- Killed by Red Marker at the end of BOTB 3
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: He originally had three toed, but gained four toes in episode 7.
- Game Show Host: A sarcastic, egostistical one at best.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Has his times where he's a jerk to contestants, he does however care for his contestants, and especially for TV.

A large television set with a big heart and is the co-host/assistant of Battle of the Breeds.- Ascended Extra: Originally was the screen for eliminations. In BOTB 6, he became a main character, becoming the assistant to Paw.
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: He originally had the asset of TV from BFDI, had a blue screen, and was limbless.
- Nice Guy: He does his best to be the nice host when Paw's acting up.
- Promotion to Opening Titles: He is seen with Paw in the current intro.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Paw's red oni.
- Second Episode Introduction: Not 2nd, but was introduced in the 3rd episode.
- Token Good Teammate: One of the only characters with no bad intentions.

- Manipulative Bastard: Easily manipulated people into voting Droidy in "Sculpt for Success" despite losing the previous contest for everyone.

A carrot who was placed on the Shiny Glasses.- Early-Installment Weirdness: Could speak in the pilot.
- The Speechless: Only speaks in signs.

A compact disc who was placed on the Shiny Glasses.- Arch-Enemy: Pudding.
- Deadpan Snarker: A very sarcastic guy.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: A cynical grump who is still polite and civil to everyone he calls his friend.
- Only Sane Man: Basically this to his whole team.
- Perpetual Frowner: Most of the time, he's seen with a frown. Only smiles when he gets his way or is genuinely happy.

- Ooh, Me Accent's Slipping: There's plenty of moments where his British accent starts slipping.
- The Smart Guy: The smartest character on the show.

A young Siberian Husky who was placed on the Golden Canines. The twin brother of Ryan.- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The foolish sibling. Rowdy and adventurous compared to his meek younger brother.
- Younger Than They Look: Is the same height as the other dogs yet is actually a child.
- Sibling Team: Usually never seen without Ryan.
- Vague Age: Averted as he and his brother were revealed to be 10 years old.
- Vocal Evolution: Originally had a voice not so different than most of the other characters. When "Sculpt for Success" came out, he was given a nasally sounding voice.

- The Friendly Texan: Has a Southern accent, has a tendency to call everyone "pardner" and has a strong will to help others.
