Haircut Practice is a Gag Per Day Webcomic by Adam Koford.

Tropes:

  • Adorably Precocious Child: The kids in here discuss topics like astronomy, law, on a daily basis and with all seriousness.
  • Affectionate Parody: This comic is one of Peanuts.
  • Black Bead Eyes: Courtesy of the simplistic art style, every character has them.
  • Comically Missing the Point: A conversation about watching a movie in a theatre takes this turn when one kid asks the other, whether they want to be up there on the silver screen. He responds that being in the way of the light from the projector. He then goes on how he sucks at shadow puppets and would just ruin the movie for everybody.
  • Compliment Backfire: Well not exactly a compliment but the black-haired girl doesn't take well that the pediatrician called her perfectly average.
  • Didn't See That Coming: A boy teaches his friend to use an empty candy box as a whisthe. Cue a flock of birds chasing them both in the following panel.
  • Excuse Me While I Multitask: The "Charlie Brown expy" kid does his homework while pitching in baseball.
  • Follow the Leader: The character design, humor and generally everything about this comic is blatantly reminiscent of Peanuts.
  • Generic Cuteness: All characters are drawn in extremely simplistic style, with just vague shapes to make them easy to sympathize with ... or make fun of.
  • Innocently Insensitive:
  • Insane Troll Logic:
    • One kid believes, breaking an unopened chocolate bar into pieces would encourage the buyer to share the bar with hungry strangers. She makes a fuss when the grocery store makes her mom pay for the damage.
    • Another time the same girl wants to send a message ina bottle. The problem is she doesn't live anywhere near any sea. Her solution? Flush it down the toilet.
      • And the message in question is a fake treasure map. It's supposed to be a naval prank.
  • Insult Backfire: When the Cloudcuckoolander girl buys a candy bar, the clerk says, he wouldn't give the bar to his worst enemy. The girl shares the bar with her friend and remarks it tastes delicious. Her friend says that's probably why did the clerk say that.
  • Kids Are Cruel: "I shall not rest unti I've had my revenge upon you." said the black haired kid with an un-smile.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Downplayed. A guy gets a chain-mail letter asking for money and stating, that if he re-sent it to twelve more people, he'd be rich in no time. The kid, being honest, opts to send letters saying, that it's probably illegal. Now instead of money he gets countless letters saying "This is probably illegal.".
  • No Name Given: None of the kids in the comic are actually named.
  • Troubling Unchildlike Behavior:
