Class Trial 67
With a love potion being made available for use and the opportunity to take somebody else with you as you escape, it was only a matter of time before Hina and Akane were found murdered. Tropes for the Original Class Trial
- Dragon Ascendant: Kirumi was recruited to Peko's plan as a disposable pawn, only to hijack it when she realized that Peko was going to sacrifice her for Fuyuhiko.
- Love Makes You Stupid: Makoto
- Obfuscating Insanity: Once cornered, Kirumi attempts to pretend that she did her crime under the influence of a love potion to make Peko seem like the technical blackened.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Kaede trips on a pebble and drops the valuable Love Potions that could've been used to get a confession.
Class Trial 67-2
Tropes for the Second Trial
A mysterious being known only as "Redman" appears suddenly in the halls of the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles, staying confined within a strange room until Hajime Hinata is found dead inside his suit.
- Canon Immigrant: Redman makes use of the design of Q from Street Fighter III.
- Red Herring: An awful-tasting BBQ sauce is added as a Truth Bullet and turns out to be completely irrelevant.
Class Trial 67-3
Tropes for the Third Trial
After a second Tenko is found in a box, the original is crowned king of the school and made a target by Monokuma. A familiar foe returns in time for the dead bodies of Tenko and Sonia to be found.
- All Up to You: Upon being forced to confess, Byakuya asks his classmates to defeat the Mastermind in his stead.
- Expendable Clone: The dead Tenko turns out to be one, with another Tenko emerging partway through the trial.
- Forced into Evil: Byakuya
- Graceful Loser: With the only other mystery solved and no other suspects, Byakuya decides to confess rather than draw out the inevitable.
- Implausible Deniability: Miu denies being Tenko's killer even after Monokuma outright says that it was her.
- Karma Houdini: Miu murdered the original Tenko and receives no punishment.

The Redman and Kirumi Tojo return in time for yet another class trial.
