Comic Books

  • Fables: "Kingdom Of The Great Lion" is strongly implied to be Narnia.
  • Wonder Woman (1987): The title of the arc "The Witch and the Warrior" is a reference to the 1st book.

Films — Live-Action

  • Carry On Spying: The agents' escape from STENCH headquarters coming out of the Chief's cupboard was a nod to the story.
  • Witches Of Oz: In one scene, the wicked witch of the west mentions she could conquer Narnia.

Literature

  • In Elliott & Win, Win's mom finds a copy of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, one of her childhood favorites, buried in a box. Win reads it at the pool, where he runs into Heather, who says it is one of her favorites.
  • Joel Suzuki: In Ballad of the Bluerock, Mrs. Johnson tells Joel that when she was eight, she sat in her closet for ten hours, trying to get to Narnia.
  • In Men at Arms, the Lemony Narrator says that if you fought your way through all the brown coats in Mrs Cake's wardrobe, you might well find youself in a magical land, but it wouldn't be worth it.
  • In Truth or Dare (2000), Josh looks in Patrick's empty wardrobe and thinks "Not so much as a coat hanger, let alone Narnia."
  • In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball, Greg mentions that he read a book about some kids who could visit a whole different world by going through their closet, and Greg always wondered if he could do the same with his. He ends up disappointed however, before thinking that whoever lived on the other side wouldn't be too happy for Greg tossing his junk in their world. The accompanying illustration has Mr. Tumnus looking confused at a bouncing basketball.
  • In A Mango-Shaped Space, Mia and Jenna read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when they were eight. They used to look for a portal to Narnia. Mia never read past the first book, but she sees Roger reading one of the later ones, which he says he's read dozens of times.

Live-Action TV

  • Friends: In "The One with Phoebe's Husband", when Ross asks Chandler if his third nipple does anything special, he sarcastically says that it opens "the delivery entrance to the magical land of Narnia."

Puppet Shows

  • In The Muppets Take the O2, Fozzie Bear gets lost in the arena's wardrobe department and ends up in Narnia, where he meets Mr Tumnus. Mr Tumnus appears again at the end, where he discovers Fozzie has dropped his joke book.
    Mr Tumnus: "What did C.S. Lewis say when people asked him what he was writing? 'Narnia business'."

Video Games

  • Okiku, Star Apprentice: When Okiku examines her wardrobe:
    Okiku: (It's an absolutely normal wardrobe.)
    (It's not like it's a portal to another dimension, or whatever!)
    (Though, that would be pretty neat!)

Webcomics

  • Shortpacked! had a recurring gag of Aslan waiting at a bus stop.

Web Animation

  • The Misfortune Of Being Ned: In Chronicles Of Ned, Ned finds a wardrobe and mentions it might lead him to Narnia. It actually led him to a zoo where regular lions ate him alive.
