- Ultraman Gaia: The Battle In Hyperspace: The novel is referenced directly in the movie, which compares the hero Gamu Takayama (Ultraman Gaia's human host) being transported from a world where the Ultramen exists to the reality where the show is merely fictional as similar to Gulliver's travels to Liliput.
- Isaac Asimov's Words of Science and the History Behind Them: The entry for "Phobos" describes how Jonathan Swift's fictional book, Gulliver's Travels, postulated that Mars would have two moons before they had been seen in 1877.
- In I Think I Love You, Bill feels like Gulliver when he attends a David Cassidy concert, surrounded by screaming fans who threaten to push him off his feet.
- The Story Of A Bad Boy: In chapter 5, when Tom Bailey gets to the Nutter House, he narrates this...But what a place it is to sit of an afternoon with the rain pattering on the roof! What a place in which to read Gulliver's Travels [...].
