  • Dexter's Laboratory: The episode "Stuffed Animal House" gets its title from this film.
  • Family Guy:
    • In "Brian the Bachelor", the scene where Herbert climbs a ladder to spy on Chris undressing parodies the scene of Bluto peeping into the girls' dormitory, even featuring very similar mischievious flute music for when Herbert does Bluto's Eyebrow Waggle.
    • In "Mother Tucker", Stewie and Brian play various funny soundbites on their radio show. When Stewie plays a clip a pivotal speech from Philadelphia and Brian is outraged, an embarrassed Stewie claims that he meant to play "Food fight!".
    • In "Play It Again, Brian", Lois tells Peter that Brian tried to have sex with her, and Peter responds "Was he bigger than me?".
  • Futurama: In "Mars University", Bender's subplot is a parody of this film, complete with the stuffy dean being named after John Vernon.
  • The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy:
    • In "Toadblatt's School of Sorcery", Dean Toadblatt (voiced by John Vernon) repeatedly yells "GUNDERSTANK HOUSE!" whenever the Weaselthorpe students frame them for their pranks.
    • The TV movie Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure ends with a series of captions revealing the fates of the main characters.
  • King of the Hill: In "Hilloween", Hank leads a protest march to Junie Harper's house, and Bill joins the fray dressed as a Bedsheet Ghost. When his sheet gets caught on a branch and rips, Bill just marches on and yells "To-ga! To-ga!".
  • The Simpsons:
    • At the end of "Bart's Dog Gets an F", the film's "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue is parodied with captions revealing the fates of the dogs who graduated from Miss Winthrop's obedience school.
    • In "Homer Goes to College", Homer watches a movie called School of Hard Knockers, a parody of crass college comedies like Animal House, and expects his college experience to be just like it. It doesn't, and he creates a lot of trouble while trying to make it so.
    • In "Make Room for Lisa", Bill and Marty of KBBL do their show from a bar called P.J. O'Harrigan's, which they say "makes Animal House look like Terms of Endearment.
    • In "Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo", Homer tells Marge that Jim Belushi is filming a movie on the plane they're flying in and that it will be shown later in the flight. Belushi then comes out wearing a toga like his brother John and shouts "To-ga! To-ga! To-ga... 2000!"
Homer: Marge, they stole my idea.
    • At the end of "Margical History Tour", Homer mentions that Tom Hulce (who starred in Amadeus, which the last segment was a parody of) also starred in Animal House and proceeds to sing the movie's theme song. The "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue is then parodied with captions released to the three stories featured in the episode, plus a mention that Homer rewatched the movie later that night and went to work in a toga the next day.
    • In "Midnight Towboy", the Simpsons throw a toga party in their house, complete with them singing along to Lloyd G. Williams' version of "Shout".
    • In "That 90's Show", Homer visits Marge at Springfield University and laments that it's nothing like in Animal House, saying that he smashed a beatnik's guitar and ended up getting sued for damages.
