What's better than a normal facepalm? A Godzilla facepalm!
The 28th episode and an origins tale at that.
A retelling of 'Son of Godzilla' told in a dream sequence by the Monster King. It tells of how Godzilla and Minya came to be father and son...sort of. Hilarity ensues.
- A Storm Is Coming: One part of Godzilla's dream has him seeing strange silhouettes and one of them is openly hostile. What does it mean?
- As Season 3 revealed MUCH later on, it's the 'Legends of Kaiju' arc. More on that later down the line.
- Berserk Button: Mock Mothra and she'll beat you down. Abuse your children verbally....
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: Kamacuras and Kumonga (the latter doesn't appear, though).
- The Cameo: In order to shut up the narrator in his flowery rant at the end Meta-Ridley decks him, causing him to need aspirin.
- Distant Reaction Shot: When Godzilla is bitten by Mothra, his scream can be heard across the whole island.
- Facepalm: Godzilla, on the poster.
- Groin Attack: Mothra deals a particularly PAINFUL bite to a certain area.
- Happily Adopted: Minya.
- Lethally Stupid: Minya is so dumb, that he hurts Godzilla at one point. Non-deliberately, but still.
- Nightmare Face / Unstoppable Rage: Mothra's angered form.
- Evil Sounds Deep: Another side effect.
- Dark Is Not Evil: She did mean well.
- Screams Like a Little Girl: Godzilla, at times.
- Ship Tease: Godzilla with Mothra, Gorosaurus with Manda.
- Sink or Swim Fatherhood: The fanfic.
- Skyward Scream: When Godzilla encounters a REALLY angry Mothra.
- Take Our Word for It: When Minya stomps on Godzilla's tail, he descends into a bout of swearing that is cut off, ending with '-WITH A GODDAMN PIG!!!". It scares off Minya.
