Recap / The Real Ghostbusters S 2 E 62 Victor The Happy Ghost

Go To

The Ghostbusters and Slimer are after a ghost in a museum. They eventually catch it, but Ray and Winston feel guilty due to having found the ghost cute. When they return to the firehouse, Slimer is afraid of Janine's mud mask and flies past Ray, who's startled into dropping the trap, freeing the ghost. They then decide to keep the ghost, with Janine naming him Victor after her nephew.

Later, Victor starts playing with some of Egon's laboratory equipment. Slimer chases him away, but then the machine starts frying him, and when Egon enters and turns it off, he thinks Slimer had been playing with it. Victor then eats the last jelly doughnut, and Janine thinks Slimer did it and yells at him. Then, when Ray is working on Ecto-1, Victor slams the hood on him, and again Slimer gets the blame. He angrily chases Victor and starts choking him, but Egon catches him and scolds both ghosts. Slimer then sees Victor change into a monstrous form and tries to fly away, but Victor grabs him and traps him. He morphs back into his smaller form, and Egon and Peter take him to study.

At dinner, the Ghostbusters get called to Tribecca for a poltergeist, while Janine spots the trap Slimer is in and thinks the Ghostbusters just forgot to empty a trap. In Tribecca, a woman thinks there's a poltergeist in her house, but it turns out to just be a subway train shaking it.

Janine drops the trap, ready to empty it, releasing Slimer, who explains about Victor. Janine calls the guys, who have Victor with them, and he flies out of the car. They chase after him, while Janine and Slimer go to search for them in Ecto-2. In an alley, Victor turns into his monstrous form, destroys the proton packs, and grabs the guys. He's about to kill them, when Janine and Slimer show up, and toss them spare proton packs, allowing them to trap Victor. They then return to the firehouse and grovel to Slimer to apologise for wrongly blaming him.
