- Heel–Face Revolving Door: Dijonay’s flaws pop up again under pressure from the Gross Sisters who blackmail her into giving her a pass if they tell her where Penny is. Following this, she manages to redeem herself by helping to rescue Penny from the museum with the help of Sticky.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Dijonay lampshades that she did try to warn Zoey that she would come back crying after she tries to be nice to the Gross sister.
- No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Penny is successful in punishing the Gross Sisters by exposing their cruelty in the cafeteria to the principal, but they threaten to beat her up and this leads to the episodes climax.
- Skipping School: After Penny reports the Gross Sisters' jacking and stealing her shopping money to the principal, the sisters threaten to beat her up the next day. Penny decides to skip school to avoid them, only to run into them at the museum, until Dijonay and Sticky, who also skipped, save her.
- Took a Level in Kindness: The Gross Sisters, at the end of the episode, start showing some respect for Penny. But that doesn’t mean they still hold some form of antagonism towards her in later episodes.
