Michael is enjoying his relationship with Donna, but when the staff see signs that she’s cheating on him, he grows paranoid and despondent and enlists Dwight to gather information.
Meanwhile Andy learns that some customers’ printers are catching fire so Darryl decides to prank Andy into thinking there’s a coverup.
Tropes
- Everyone Knows Morse: Dwight is convinced that the tapping and clicking Jim and Pam are doing in the Cold Open is actually Morse code, so they can insult him in front of him. They ridicule the idea that they would have the time or resources to learn how to do that, and then immediately reveal in a talking head that that is exactly what they did, in response to Dwight telling Pam he would stop kicking her desk when she lost her pregnancy weight.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: Gabe acts really shifty when informing Andy about the printers.
- Heart Break And Ice Cream: Played With, as Michael didn't have any ice cream in the break room, so he had to make do with mayonnaise and black olives.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Turns out Ryan was completely right suspecting Donna of cheating. He didn't realize Donna is cheating with Michael.
- Long List: In a talking head, Ryan rattles off a list of signs your partner might be cheating. It is heavily implied these are all ways himself was caught.
- Oh, Crap!: Darryl when he sees Andy was right about the printers catching fire. He resolves never to prank again.
- Pam when Michael pointed Donna at her.
- Sarcastic Confession: Pam and Jim have actually learnt Morse to insult Dwight.
- Wham Line: When Michael insists that Donna tell him who the other man is, she says:Donna: You are. I'm married.
