Toy: Teddy Ruxpin (the only time he's ever reviewed a toy)
This review contains examples of:
- Affectionate Parody: The episode is a parody of The Twilight Zone (1959) episode "Living Doll".
- Buffy Speak: The Critic tells Teddy, "You're not real. You're just... a thing... that's not very real."
- Downer Ending: The possessed Ruxpin apparently kills the Critic at the end.
- Groin Attack: Teddy Ruxpin bites Critic in the nuts.
- Off with His Head!: The Critic does this to Ruxpin.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Teddy's eyes turn red when he reveals himself as the devil. At the end, the room is completely pitch black as Teddy's eyes light up red: "Come dream with me tonight..."
- Screams Like a Little Girl: The Critic does this several times when he learns the truth about Teddy Ruxpin.
- Why Won't You Die?: At one point, the Critic is about to attack Ruxpin, only for him to sic Grubby on the Critic. As Grubby attacks the Critic, he says to him, "Why won't you just die?"
