Courtroom Episode: Where much of the comedy comes from, especially Rosco convincingly portraying himself as the victim of longtime harassment by the Duke family and the injuries that resulted (when it is clear to the audience and everyone else that the opposite is true).
Hilarity Ensues: Much of what occurs in the courtroom scene would have everyone jailed for at least contempt of court, and certainly for Boss and Rosco long prison terms for perjury (as any self-respecting judge would easily see plenty of outright inaccurate testimony) and fraud.
"Jack and the Beanstalk": Fe-fi-fo-fum, fans can smell the blood of a shivering Rosco as he insists that Boss read him his favorite(!) story.
