"Isn't it lovely, this lovely night?" "The stars look lovely..." "One lovely sight!"

Quera: You have braces? Yeah, me too!

Somewhere, at night on a coastal highway...

The Aquabats come across a fireside party that is under attack by a pair of Mummies. The team steps in, but are unable to stop the mummies, and destroy the party goers van. They instead round them onto the safety of the Battletram and throw their own party.

Ricky sets his sights on a shy lady named Quera and the two quickly hit it off. Unfortunately, once they're alone, she hypnotizes him and elongates her neck, intending to devour him, only sparing him after noticing that they both have braces. She flees into the Battletram after seeing the mummies chasing the battletram on motorcycles.

Quera changes her head and attempts to ensnare Eaglebones, but is interupted by Crash, and flees into the bathroom, where all three heads discuss their plan to devour the Aquabats.

Jimmy deals with the attacking mummies using the Battletram's autopilot, and goes onto study their residue. The Sirens attempt to ensnare him, but cannot due to him being a robot. He in turn warns the others just in time for Quera to arrive on the dance floor and hypnotize Ricky, Crash and Eaglebones int attacking the others, but their state is undone easily in the ensuing fight.

Free from the Siren's mind control, Ricky and Quera make up and refuse to fight each other, much to the rest of the team's confusion. But before things can get out of hand, the mummies burst into the Battletram and capture the Sirens, declaring that they mean the others no harm {Now he tells us). They are in fact the guardians of the Underworld and have only been seeking to recapture the escaped Siren, and indeed do just that.

Later, the Commander decides to drop off the party goers at a random bustop while he and Jimmy discuss is Ricky's feelings for Quera were genuine, or if he was simply under her spell. Ricky himself meanwhile video chats with her from the Underworld, confirming his feelings.

Tropes

  • Boob-Based Gag: Briefly before the Sirens attack towards the end, the two heads hidden beneath the coat push up against the front, resembling a certain pair of body parts.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: The Sirens use their song to hypnotize Eaglebones, Ricky and Crash to attack The Commander and Jimmy.
  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: It's only at the end of the episode that the mummies suddenly talk and explain they're actually the good guys. Not when they appeared in the middle of a beach party and started shooting lasers around with no explanation. Lampshaded by the Commander.
Bat Commander: "Now he tells us..."
  • I Am a Humanitarian: The Siren's intend to hypnotize and devour the Aquabats.
  • Interspecies Romance: Ricky falls in love with Quera, even after discovering she is a three headed monster that tried to eat him.
  • Love Redeems: While Quera is clearly the least evil of the three heads, she still seemed perfectly happy to try and eat the Aquabats until she met Ricky.
  • Multiple Headcase: Quera, Hera and Vera share the single body, attached by long, tentacle-like necks. They each take turns 'driving' while the other two hide beneath their coat.
  • Mummy: The guardians of the underworld.
  • Mythology Gag: Before the mummies arrive, the party goers are dancing to the song BFF from the Aquabat's album, Hi-Five Soup.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: When trying to rescue some party goers from Mummies, Eaglebones accidentally blows up their van. This is quickly addressed when the team brings them on board the Battletram to continue their party and give them a ride. And then the Commander drops them off at a random stop sign, stranding them yet again.
  • Not a Zombie: Crash charges into battle against the Mummies, stating he's not afraid of zombies. Jimmy corrects him, and he promptly freaks out.
  • One-Winged Angel: Sort of. For the climax, the Sirens unleash all three of their heads and
  • Our Monsters Are Weird: The Sirens are a three headed monster shaped like a cute, but pale girl, with long, stretchy necks that move like snakes, and have a taste for human flesh.
  • The Reveal: The Mummies are in fact good guys, who seek only to bring the escaped Sirens back to the Underworld.
  • Spoof Aesop:
Bat Commander: "You know, that's why we should never judge people, or mummies, until we get to know them."
