During lunch one day, Kusuri accidentally gives Nano a drug that causes her to shrink down to a few centimeters tall. Kusuri can't give Nano the neutralizer, as doing so would strain her body too much and kill her, but the drug should wear off by the next day. Meme provides Nano with an outfit to wear while the other girls start marveling at Nano's shrunken size. Lunch period soon comes to an end, and the group returns to their classes, with Nano riding in Rentarou's pocket and taking notes with a miniature pencil and notebook fashioned by Rentarou.
After school, Rentarou invites Nano to stay the night at his house. On the way there, a sudden windstorm kicks up, blowing a plastic bag onto Rentarou's face. With his hands occupied with holding onto Nano, she reaches up to pull the bag off his face, only to get carried up by the wind toward a set of power cables. Rentarou rushes to catch her as she lets go of the bag, but she gets blown away by her long hair, necessitating Rentarou to be dragged by a passing car driven by Mei and Hahari to catch Nano.
At his home, Rentarou provides Nano with dinner, facilities, and a miniature bed in his room. The next morning, Nano has returned to her normal size, being left naked as a consequence. Being kissed by Nano in her nude state causes Rentarou to faint.
