With Rentarou's words, Karane is persuaded to reclaim her old persona. Kusuri finishes making the tsundere-maker drug, but it doesn't work. Rentarou, however, is determined to figure out a way to restore Karane. But it's already late, and so the other girls head home. Hahari is concerned that Karane's parents will be worried about Karane's "tsundere loss" and, due to Karane being unable to convincingly act like a tsundere, invites her to stay the night at her place. Rentarou senses Hahari's ulterior motive and insists on staying the night at her place as well.
At the Hanazono mansion, Rentarou, Hakari, and Karane discuss a plan to get Karane back to normal while Hahari and Mei take a bath. Rentarou proposes engaging in activities that would provoke a tsundere response from Karane, but Karane keeps responding to proclamations of love and hugs with straightforward happy answers. Hakari, who was slyly inserting herself into the aforementioned activities, suggests that Rentarou try groping Karane. (She just wants to have hers groped.) After some arguing, Rentarou dons a pair of fake Iron Man gloves so he won't feel himself groping the girls.
Nothing they try works, and Hakari and Karane try to brainstorm ideas together in the bath. Hakari tries to molest Karane to trigger a tsundere response, but the latter finds it too enjoyable, to the former's frustration. Meanwhile, Hahari, who had been peeping on the two, has passed out from yet another Horny Nosebleed. The mansion is out of blood packs, and so Mei gathers up all the maids with Hahari's blood type for a blood transfusion.
This gives Rentarou an idea...
