Recap / The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You Ch 048

Go To

Rentarou presents the girls with a box of heart-shaped shortbread. The girls pair off to feed pieces to one another, but Karane struggles to properly thank Rentarou for feeding her a piece. As she wallows in misery about her inability to properly convey her feelings, the rest of the girls indulge in various activities, at the center of which is Iku and Kusuri engaging in a sumo match. Iku wins the first round, and Kusuri attempts to age herself up with a neutralizer. Pulling out a tsundere-unmaker drug by mistake, Kusuri opts to rematch Iku in her child body. Iku wins again, this time slamming Kusuri into Karane, who happily brushes it off.

Kusuri notices a glowing ball of energy hovering above the roof and realizes that Karane drank the tsundere-unmaker drug. After Kusuri explains the drug to Rentarou, the energy ball dissipates, and the other girls become enthralled by Karane's new persona. Iku, however, says she prefers the old Karane, and one by one, the rest of the harem acknowledge that Karane was likable even as a tsundere. Kusuri is about to start making a tsundere-maker drug, but Karane refuses to take the drug. Rentarou then takes Karane for a walk.

Rentarou brings Karane to the school garden where she and Hakari first confessed to him. He tells Karane that she was a tsundere when he fell in love with her and that he's willing to accept her change in personality if this is who she wants to be, but not if she hates who she used to be.
