Mei is deep in thought over how much happiness she has had ever since Hahari saved her from freezing to death in the snow several years ago. She feels that she owes a large debt to Hahari for all the happiness she has acquired since then, even though the other girls think she's already repaid her many times over, and so Rentarou offers to help Mei get a gift for Hahari to show her appreciation.
The first stumbling block on choosing a gift for Hahari involve Mei's idea of a large gift. Then, when Mei is unable to decide on a gift idea, she considers selling her organs, which she only reconsiders when Rentarou uses her own logic to explain why she can't do that. She eventually decides on a Belgian handkerchief, which is almost immediately ruined when a child accidentally drops an ice cream cone on it. Rentarou is about to head off to Belgium to replace the handkerchief, but Mei explains that she had another idea for a gift.
When Mei returns to the Hanazono mansion, she presents Hahari with Rentarou wrapped up in a ribbon, saying that he is hers for the next hour. Rentarou, however, is wearing a chastity belt that will pierce his groin with countless needles if he gets aroused, and the key to remove it will be inaccessible for the hour that he is hers. Frustrated, Hahari resigns herself to watching Rentarou do a cross-dressing fashion show.
By the time the hour is over, Hahari has passed out from a Horny Nosebleed. As Mei tends to her, Hahari mentions that she wanted to get a kiss from Mei, but refused to ask for one due to Mei's mindset. Instead, she asks for one not as a master, but as a friend. Mei attempts to comply, but she starts vomiting Blood from the Mouth at the thought of soiling Hahari's lips.
As Mei thanks Rentarou for helping her, she presents Rentarou with a gift she bought for him during their outing: a statue with closed eyes. After a brief back and forth about who should be thanking who, the two share a kiss as Hahari watches from the sidelines.
Tropes:
- Ambiguous Situation: When a young girl accidentally launches an ice cream cone into the handkerchief after tripping over, the child offers up her life as penance. Mei politely declines, because it didn't belong to Hahari yet. Rentarou questions if she would've accepted the girl's death as compensation if it had been Hahari's. Mei never provides an answer.
- Dragged into Drag: Unable to molest or seduce Rentarou due to the chastity belt, Hahari has Rentarou perform a cross-dressing fashion show.
- No Wrong Answers Except That One: Rentarou tells Mei there are no wrong ideas for a gift for Hahari, whereupon Mei decides to sell her organs. Rentarou responds by calling that a wrong answer.
- Shout-Out: Mei likens Rentarou telling her that the present she wants to buy for Hahari can't choose itself to something from the Ikkyu-San anime. Also, Hahari compares the chastity belt Rentarou is wearing to Astro Boy's briefs, and calls for Chainsaw Man to help her cut Rentarou out of it.
