Recap / Supermarioglicthy4s Super Mario 64 Bloopers The Intruder

Go To

Mario and friends get a lil visit

The SMG4 crew try to deal with an unlikely opponent.

  • Call-Back: Mario reused his stand from Mario's Lemonade Stand to make a hot dog stand in this episode.
  • Deadly Dodging: Twice, the bee lands on someone and causes them to get hurt while someone tries to kill it. The first time, Mario accidentally shoots himself in the head, and the second time, Bob kicks Axol in the balls.
  • Faux Horrific: The titular intruder that the entire crew is terrified of is a single harmless bee.
  • Fly Crazy: The entire premise of the episode is everyone freaking out trying to get rid of a bee that got inside the castle.
  • Gross-Up Close-Up: Parodied. When the bee lands on Mario's nose, the POV-shot depicts it as ridiculously human-like.
  • Idiot Ball: Even normally competent characters like Meggy and Saiko are terrified of the bee (though, granted, this was after they failed to kill it with an absurdly powerful attack).
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": Everyone at the end of the episode when a beehive falls upon SMG4's head.
    • Also seen earlier in the episode, as mentioned below.
  • Nigh-Invulnerable: Somehow, the Bee manages to survive everything the cast throws at it, from an All-Out Attack by Saiko and Meggy to a lightning cannon from Swagmaster.
  • Oh, Crap!: Axol and Bob have this reaction upon learning Melony carried the bee with her when she was brought downstairs by Axol.
  • Only Sane Man: SMG4 is the only one that didn't freak out over the bee (aside from Melony, who was simply completely ignorant of it because she was asleep).
  • Stealth Pun: The way SMG4 lures the bee out is with jazz music. This is a reference to an internet meme with the main character from the Bee Movie saying, "You like jazz?"
  • Take That, Audience!: At the beginning of the episode, when Luigi chokes on one of Mario's hot dogs, he decides to improve them by adding "Fanbase-Brand Salt".
