What has Happened? Miyuki's Nonsense Cinderella (known as A Fairytale Ending in the US) is the 39th episode of Smile PreCure! (31st of Glitter Force).
Miyuki finds a magic book that transports her into the world of Cinderella with her friends forced to follow after her to make sure there are no deviations that will effect all copies of the story.
Tropes:
- Bifauxnen: Reika plays the prince of the story, and wears a spiffy uniform.
- Crossdresser: Wolfrun and Akaoni as the stepsisters and Reika as the prince.
- Eye Scream: Akane and Nao, who play the mice, land on the faces of Wolfun and Akaoni, who play the stepsisters, to keep them from the glass slipper.
- Genre Savvy: Despite the abuse from the Bad End Commanders as her wicked step-family, Miyuki is enough of a Cinderella superfan to know about that the Fairy Godmother will help her get a happy ending. But Majorina, being a fairy tale villain, is aware of this and captured Yayoi, who plays the Fairy Godmother, in advance for a Happy Ending Override.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Majorina was going to sabotage Miyuki as she was cooking, only for Miyuki to end up sabotaging herself.
- Trapped in TV Land: Miyuki gets trapped inside a book world.
