Summer! The Sea! Akane and Nao's Stubborn Showdown!! (known as Battle on the Beach in the US) is the 25th episode of Smile PreCure! (22nd of Glitter Force), and the 414th episode overall of Pretty Cure.
The girls head to the beach for summer break, and Akane and Nao duke it out over whose food stand is better.

- Cultural Translation: Zigzagged: Shaved ice is referred to as snow cones in Glitter Force. But this is one of a few episodes that uses the proper term for okonomiyaki and even explictly calls it Japanese.
- Dub-Induced Plotline Change: In the original version, Akane's father and brother aren't working at the okonomiyaki stand because her father's back is still injured and her brother is at camp. However, because Glitter Force skipped over the episode where Akane's father was injured, this is changed to them both being Out Sick with colds.
- Fan Disservice: In the dub, Emily lampshades it when she sees a shirtless Brute surfing.
- Feud Episode: Between Akane and Nao.
- Running Gag: Miyuki gets hit in the face with something large once again.
