Mistaken Identi-sheep

Original air date: 7/8/2001 (produced in 2000)

In the twelfth episode of Sheep in the Big City, a sheep-like creature robs the town while Sheep is blamed.

"Mistaken Identi-sheep" contains examples of:

  • Ambiguous Syntax: Used in a sketch where the Sombrero Brothers prepare to do a stunt with a man eating cheese. Rather than cheese eating people, what we see is one of the brothers eat cheese while restrained in stocks.
  • Clear My Name: The episode revolves around Sheep being framed for a crime wave happening in the city that targets the rich and gives the proceeds to the poor. It was actually Swanky, trying to help Sheep's reputation with the general population of The City.
  • Kangaroo Court: Sheep is assured that he'll "be found guilty in a completely fair trial." The judge declares him guilty after his opening statement. In the form of song and dance.
  • One-Steve Limit: The Ranting Swede dedicates his latest rant to a person named Timmy McPherson and then proceeds to rant about how he's annoyed by another Timmy McPherson, whom he clarifies is not the same Timmy McPherson he's dedicating his rant to.
  • Word, Schmord!: Lady Richington replies to a news report of a bank robbery by saying "Bank, Schmank", then responds to another report of a supermarket robbery with "Supermarket, schmupermar...oh, who cares?" She then screams a Big "NO!" in response to a report of her entire mansion being robbed while she's still in it.
