A Bi-curious, Bi-furious, Girl Fight
As the band ponders their post-Scott reality, Ramona sets out to find him… and encounters the last person she wanted to see.
  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Compared to the interactions Roxy and Ramona had in other media there is a lot more angst and drama between the two here. It's also the first time Ramona is almost exclusively treated as the bad guy by the narrative. When she realizes just how much she hurt Roxie all she can do is apologize. While Roxie tries to finish the fight, she does forgive Ramona.
  • Aspect Ratio Switch: The aspect ratio becomes narrower while Ramona and Roxy are in the movie world, and analog during their flashbacks.
  • Did You Think I Can't Feel?: Ramona essentially dumped Roxie by moving out of their room, and didn't even say goodbye as she was leaving despite how utterly broken Roxie looked that day.
Roxie: You made me feel like NOTHING!
  • Drowning My Sorrows: Implied with Wallace when goes to the coffee store he's completly drunk showing that deep down he really like Scott and tought of him as a friend, but then again is you really know him it's also possible that Wallace was just being Wallace.
  • Never Trust a Title: Ramona doesn't actually rent anything. Half of the episode takes place in the video store, but Ramona finds a recording at the Rockit earlier, revealing the truth behind Scott's "death".
  • The Reveal:
    • After reviewing footage of the fight between Scott and Matthew, Ramona discovers that Scott was dragged into a portal by a mysterious force, seconds before Matthew could land a punch. Then the unknown figure left behind some coins to make it look like Scott was killed.
    • The ending reveals that Gideon's real name is Gordon Goose, and that he's an old acquaintance of Julie Powers, of all people.
  • Ship Tease: When Roxie accepts that it won't work out with her and Ramona, she sees if she can replicate the same spark with Kim and they both kiss. Doesn't work for either of them.
  • This Is Gonna Suck:
    • When Roxie realizes she’s at the mercy of Kim’s TV remote, she slumps helplessly as Ramona slams her with her hammer through several walls.
    • Ramona finds out how uplifting it is to bury the hatchet with Roxie, one of her Evil Exes... only to find out that she may have to make amends with all of them in some way to finally move on; something she feels is not going to be fun as she investigates Scott's disappearance.
  • Trapped in TV Land: During their fight in the video rental store, Ramona and Roxy accidentally get trapped in the movies when a shelf of videos topple onto them.
  • Women Are Wiser: Hilariously averted with Roxie. She claims to have more intelligence than the other Exes, who are all male, but is just as clueless when it comes to emotions as they are. When Ramona challenges her to actually talk about her feelings, Roxie responds by challenging her to a fight.
  • Writer's Block: After several hours of what seemed like hard work, Young Neil comes to discover he’s made no progress on his screenplay. A stranger sneaks in to write the whole thing, making Young Neil believe he finished in his sleep.
