“What do I do?! Galaxia has taken the Star Seeds of people I care about one after another! Wait a minute... that golden Star Seed that she's holding in her hand. Could it be... Mamo-chan's?”
Usagi Tsukino

The Outer Guardians take their turn in fighting Sailor Galaxia while the Starlights and an emotionally distraught Sailor Moon escape the throne room to recover. And when the Outers prove to be just as fruitless with fighting her, Galaxia offers them a chance at salvation if they turn on their allies and pledge their loyalty to her. And to everyone's shock, Uranus and Neptune accept her deal of damnation.

Tropes in this episode include:

  • And Then What?: Neptune refuses to let the Starlights help them by asking what they hope to accomplish with their injuries.
  • As You Know: Galaxia reminds Sailor Moon about how everyone in the galaxy has a Star Seed but only a select few, born from stars and planets, are able to shine for eternity.
  • Bare-Handed Blade Block: Using only her hand, Galaxia easily catches Uranus' Space Sword.
  • Change the Uncomfortable Subject: Just before confirming what became of the Inner Guardians and Mamoru, Pluto draws attention to how exhausted Chibi Chibi Moon is.
  • Cliffhanger: Sailor Moon and the Starlights return to the battlefield only to be confronted by Uranus and Neptune who have just been ordered to claim their Star Seeds.
  • Continuity Nod: Galaxia explains that she was the one who freed Nehelenia to force Sailor Saturn to develop her own Star Seed at a faster rate.
  • Deal with the Devil: Uranus references this when convincing Neptune to join her in accepting Galaxia's deal.
  • Defiant to the End:
    • Even as he's fading into nothingness, Mamoru boasts to Galaxia that she'll never have control of the Earth since the Sailor Guardians are still alive to protect it from her clutches.
    • This also applies to the Time and Death Guardians Pluto and Saturn as they refuse Galaxia's Deal with the Devil and are willing to fight against their friends-turned-enemies.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: After Chibi Chibi Moon openly questions if there's nothing left to fight for, the Starlights remember how the Inner Guardians gave their lives for their friends and how they should do the same.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Uranus and Neptune accept Galaxia's offer in becoming her new hench-clowns. Doing so means offering their own Star Seeds while also turning on their former friends (and the Starlights).
  • Fighting Your Friend: Galaxia takes sadistic pleasure in watching Sailor Guardians turn to the dark side and kill their former friends and allies.
  • Good Is Not Soft: Uranus tells Moon to pull herself together by reminding her that Galaxia is still a major threat who's wreaking havoc with her invasion.
  • In Medias Res: The episode continues with Usagi learning how Galaxia obtained Mamoru's Star Seed.
  • Internal Reveal: Galaxia explains that she orchestrated the Nehelenia Arc by freeing the Queen of Nightmares herself.
  • Never My Fault: Uranus jokes about her Space Sword getting dull and playfully confirms to Neptune that her skills aren't the ones that need sharpening.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: After making it clear that she is the dominant Sailor Guardian, Galaxia offers the Outer Guardians the opportunity to join her as her subordinates as an alternative to death.
  • The Promise: Just before leaving to fight the Golden Queen, Pluto promises Moon that they'll defeat her once and for all.
  • The Reveal:
    • Galaxia reveals how she confronted Mamoru and stole his Star Seed.
    • Galaxia also reveals that the actual reason why she freed Queen Nehelenia was to force Hotaru to reawaken as Sailor Saturn so she could have her Star Seed. The only reason why she didn't attack the Sailor Guardians sooner is because she was using the Animamates to unwittingly draw Princess Kakyuu out of hiding.
  • Seen It All: The Golden Queen Galaxia thinks to herself on how she's seen countless Sailor Guardians from other worlds betray one another for the sake of survival.
  • Self-Serving Memory: Galaxia boasts that Queen Nehelenia was her willing ally. Sailor Saturn argues that Galaxia clearly manipulated Nehelenia's thirst for vengeance against Sailor Moon and used the Dead Moon Queen.
  • Survivor's Guilt: Star Maker feels exceptionally guilty over the fact that other Sailor Guardians have given their lives to fight Galaxia while they live longer then them.
  • Tactical Withdrawal: Just before Galaxia unleashes another barrage of energy shots, Chibi Chibi Moon teleports everyone out of her throne room giving them time to recover.
  • This Cannot Be!: Pluto says this after realizing that Galaxia was responsible for returning Saturn's powers.
  • Together in Death: Neptune references "til death do us part" to her girlfriend Uranus just before Galaxia begins the subjugation process.
  • Uncertain Doom: Galaxia abducted the entire plane Mamoru was in and brought it into her dimension, which means the other passengers were taken too. And given Galaxia's xenophobic treatment of humanity, it's more than likely that everyone perished after she stole Mamoru's Star Seed.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Both Pluto and Saturn are infuriated with Uranus and Neptune turning Judas on them and abandoning their mission.
  • Whip of Dominance: The Golden Queen conjures an energy whip to throw off Uranus and Neptune.
  • Would Rather Suffer: Pluto chooses the death option instead of Galaxia's servitude option.
  • You Monster!: Star Healer calls Uranus and Neptune bastards after seeing their new bracelets.
