SMG3 the Princess wants to go to the ball! But fate stands in his way. Can his trusty animal friend Mario help him?! Find out on the latest installment of PUZZLEVISION
The second of the Puzzlevision Originals after the SMG4 channel is taken over, this one being a satire of fairy tales; in this episode, the lonely "princess" SMG3 seeks to marry a wealthy man and get filthy rich, all with the less-than-stellar help of his deer friend Mario. Meanwhile, petty Wicked Witch SMG4 seeks to eliminate the competition and keep "her" title as the fairest of them all...
  • Acting for Two: In-Universe example with Mr. Puzzles, who plays both SMG4's mirror on the wall and a fairy godmother.
  • Actor Allusion: At one point, SMG4 and 3 face Shrek, who says "GET IN MY BELLY", referencing Fat Bastard. Both characters were voiced by Mike Myers.
  • And I Must Scream: It's confirmed with SMG3's wish at the end that everyone is Trapped in TV Land, and it's clear they do not enjoy being forced to act out Mr. Puzzle's shows against their will.
  • Crossdresser: SMG3 spends most of the episode dressed in Princess Peach's dress so he can find a Sugar Daddy to mooch off of.
  • Cross-dressing Vocal:invoked Played with. Most of SMG3's song is performed by Elsie Lovelock using her Meggy voice.
  • Fairy Tale Episode: After the last one involving children's mysteries, fairy tales sounds like the next logical step.
  • Fractured Fairy Tale: The episode is a mashup of classic stories like Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel, with characters cast in roles that don't fit them in the slightest, and the show being run by a man who is clearly insane.
  • Gold Digger: SMG3 makes himself into a princess just to hook up with a Sugar Daddy.
  • "I Want" Song: The "Sugar Daddy Song", in which SMG3 sings that he became a princess just so he could get himself a Meal Ticket with loads of money.
  • Mood Whiplash: As a Fractured Fairy Tale, this episode is mostly off-the-wall hilarity, but near the very end, as SMG3 prepares to tell his wish, his face goes stoic along with the others in the room as he monotonically begs to be released, before Mr. Puzzles show up to fix the problem. It's a brief but jarring moment that confirms that our heroes are in fact Trapped in TV Land and forced to act out Mr. Puzzles' crazy skits against their will.
  • Playing Against Type: In-Universe example, with the usually down-to-Earth everyman SMG4 being portrayed as a Wicked Witch.
  • Second Episode Introduction: Played for Drama. After being Trapped in TV Land in the last episode without a proper role, SMG3 is heavily involved in the second Puzzlevision Original... much to his displeasure.
  • She Is the King: Gender-Inverted with SMG3, who takes on the title of "Princess" and dresses up like one as part of a Gold Digger scheme.
  • Shout-Out: An obvious homage to the ballroom dancing scene from Beauty and the Beast. Not this show's first time, either.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: To prepare for the ball, SMG3 has his animal friends make him a dress to wear. Instead of SMG4's take on a Disney Princess gown, however, the animals make SMG3 look like a Rummage Sale Reject. What exactly was he expecting from animals, who have no concept of everyday clothing nevermind ballroom attire?
  • Take That!: To Disney Princess tropes in general. Also to MrBeast, whose SMG4 equivalent "MrYeast" reappears here as the product of eating the poisoned apple.
  • Villain Song: The aptly titled "Evil Villain Song", sung by SMG4 purely for its own sake because being a villain means he gets to sing one.
  • Wham Line: After winning the fairness competition, SMG3 is given one wish. His wish before being "corrected" by Mr. Puzzles?
"I wish we could all escape from here."
  • Woodland Creatures: SMG3, being in the role of a Disney princess, is initially surrounded by such creatures. But except for Deer Mario, they end up abandoning him because he hated the dress they made him.
