Celebrating SMG4's 500,000 subscribers, you play as Mario, who must once again rescue the princess from Bowser. Your choice will effect what ending you get.
Tropes:
- Boss Fight: There are four bosses in the game; the Chain Chomp, Shy Guy and Foxy, Gooper Blooper, and finally Bowser.
- Clueless Mystery: While on Lardbutt's ship, his sandwich is stolen, and you have to choose between either Foxy or Shy Guy as the thief. There's no evidence, but knowing the series's portrayal of them, it's naturally the Shy Guy.
- Downer Ending: The actually ending reveals that Your Princess Is in Another Castle! yet again, the Peach you rescue being a Toad. It ends with Mario shooting them and then screaming into the air.
- Epic Fail: Since you're behind the wheel, you get to cause Mario's fails throughout the game, earning different ends as a result.
- Multiple Endings: There are 30 Game Over endings, and one true endings, complete with a rating of x/10. They're so many that theres a page just for them.Your rating: 0/10
- Press X to Not Die: Doing nothing will naturally result in Mario dying.
- Gotta Kill Them All: Through the game, some choices lead to killing Toads. There are 10 (actually 11, as one ending has you kill 2) to find and kill.
- Guide Dang It!: Some choices rely on your knowledge of the SMG4 series. "The Pirate Plumbers," for example, shows that the Waluigi Launcher doesn't work on the Gooper Blooper.
- Naked People Are Funny: Mario routinely gets naked in some paths. It's required to get pass Captain Lardbutt and his crew.
- Quick Time Event: The game has some of these. Performing some of these events are actually bad for you, while others "like dodging Steve" are necessary.
- Violation of Common Sense: Some correct choices require this. For example, you need to let Mario crash his car to avoid getting arrested, and you need to beat the Gooper Blooper with a Waluigi Picture instead of the Waluigi Launcher.
