Mario finds him in the world of Deltarune (or Undertale 2).
- Art Shift: Just like in "Mariotale," the Hometown and Dark World segments are done almost entirely with sprites. It doesn't change to 3D until Jevil fights the group, then changes back after his defeat.
- Covers Always Lie: Despite Sans being on the thumbnail and referenced in the opening advertisement, he doesn't appear at all in the episode proper.
- The Cuckoolander Was Right: When Mario first sees Susie, he calls her Barney the Dinosaur. When Jevil turns the battlefield into 3D, Susie looks like Barney.Susie: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!
- Dreadful Musician: Ralsei stops Mario, Susie, and Lancer from fighting each other by singing "Your Reality" in the voice of Toad.
- Hat of Power: Initially, K. Round wore the crown that made him giant until Mario threw a Mario hat on him, turning him into a speedrunning Mario.
- Skewed Priorities: Undyne sees Mario run over a guy? She's fine. Mario steals her donut? 5 STARS WANTED.
- Too Dumb to Live: Mario tricks Jevil into spawning infinite lethal weapons by "doubting" that he could do (literally) anything. Mario then lies to Ralsei that the guns were "friendship blasters."
