- Comically Lopsided Rivalry: Kurumu seducing Tsukune was her way of "declaring war" on Moka for seducing all the boys in school, when really Moka is a Clueless Dude Magnet who only has eyes for Tsukune and everyone else's attraction to her is completely out of her control.
- Defeat Means Friendship: After Moka beats her and Tsukune has her spare her life, it is then that Kurumu decides that he's the one and becomes Moka's official love-rival.
- Harem Seeker: Kurumu has been using her sex appeal and Hypnotic Eyes to collect every boy in school to be her own personal band of male groupies, using every trick she can think of to add Tsukune to her collection.
- Hearing Voices: Inner Moka starts talking to Outer Moka through her rosario to explain how everything thing Tsukune has been saying has been the product of Kurumu's hypnosis.
- Monster of the Week: Kurumu is the antagonist of the episode, a succubus trying to seduce Tsukune (and every other boy) to build her very own harem and to show up Moka, who she sees as a rival for all the boy's affections.
- Not Good with Rejection: When Tsukune decides she would rather apologize to Moka than be with Kurumu and lets her down gently, her response is to extend her wings and claws to kill him, not wanting to be bested by Moka.
- Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Kurumu's favorite tactic is to feign a pain in her chest, giving her victim (in this case Tsukune) an incentive to give her all his attention and then use her breasts and Hypnotic Eyes to ensnare him.
