After Queen Bansheera destroys Vypra to fully restore her body, she uses Loki to trap four of the Rangers to the Skull Cavern, then forces Diabolico to kill him. Diabolico, saddened by the death of his friend, decides to help Carter.

Carter: Olympius. You're alive. - I Should Have Done This Years Ago: Queen Bansheera says this nearly word for word to Vypra after the demon queen announces her intention to absorb her for failing her one too many times.
- Little "No": Diabolico immediately after Loki is shot and dying.
- No Honor Among Thieves:
- Played straight with Jinxer. When Bansheera announces her intentions for Vypra, Jinxer simply remarks, "Better you than me."
- Averted with Diabolico and Loki, who regard each other as true friends. It is Bansheera causing Loki's death that causes Diabolico to turn against her.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: During the big confrontation, Bansheera boasts that the Rangers are finished and her reign will finally begin, but Carter shuts her boasting down by saying he possesses a strength she'll never have and shooting her.Bansheera: I must have this strength of yours!
Carter: You'll never possess what I have. My strength comes from within. I have a heart. - Wham Episode: Bansheera regains her full form and powers, Vypra and Loki die, and Diabolico turns against the Queen.
- What Measure Is a Mook?: Very little, according to Bansheera. She refers to all of her minions as expendable and proves it a couple times over here.
