Donald's new life proceeds, while Everett made his presence known to Duckburg. However, somewhere deep and moist, a mysterious character is seen with some homeless beggars, and names themselves "Profunda". When a series of thefts strike the Duckmall Center, Donald, as PK, has to investigate...
This Issue contains examples of:
- Big Damn Heroes: When all seems lost, Lyla manages to smash the Terror Amplifier thanks to her immunity to fear. As a result, she saves everyone.
- Chainsaw Good: Not so good when one of the robbers tries to chop PK with a hand-held, sword-like chainsaw. Thankfully, it fails against the Extransformer.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Everett summons a couple of battle droids to take PK out. The hero destroys them with incredible ease.
- Didn't Think This Through: Donald's attempts to disguise the Pi-Kar as an old bus and then as an ad sign fail miserably due to some... unexpected problems.
- Emotion Bomb: The item provided by "Profunda" to PK is a Terror Amplifier, a device which emits waves that throw nearby people in a state of terror and, when powered up, can demolish a building.
- Foreshadowing: The mysterious figure who helps PK fighting the thugs in the abandoned factory will prove important later on.
- Fridge Logic: Invoked In-Universe by Everett: when Paperinik accuses him to be Profunda and shows him an item Profunda gave him to destroy Everett, he points out the logical plothole involved.
- Gut Feeling: With no real evidence, Paperinik just feels that Profunda is Everett, or at least related to him.
- In the Hood: Profunda is only seen when she puts on a coat with a hood which obscure her face.
- Interesting Situation Duel: While looking for a place where to hide the Pi-Kar, Donald runs into some thugs with stolen machine. Since he's not costumed, he's forced to take them on while staying on the car.
- Line-of-Sight Name: Profunda got her name from the Profunda Pipes mark seen on the nearby pipes.
- Mind Rape: Profunda can unleash psychic powers to shock and dominate people, filling them with fear.
- Nightmare Sequence: PK is on the receiving end thanks to Profunda, seeing himself being threatened by Everett and a re-programmed Uno, who claims they can reprogram him as well.
- Sexy Secretary: Everett has one named Ms Fingelbauer, and is a sexy redhead in a blue dress.
- Shout-Out: The two bodyguards employed by Everett have hairstyles based on Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta.
- Unwitting Pawn: PK ends up being one for Profunda.
- Wham Shot: The final panel shows the cryogenic cell of Juniper... with an empty one besides hers.
- Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises: When Paperinik has his shocked moment, we get a close up of his eyes, bigger than ever, with tiny, dot-like irises and pupils.
