    • It means a lot to Keane that he gets to marry his girlfriend, Mavis.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Keane is disgusted that Ryan would ask him to betray one of his own men.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Adebisi is confused as to why Augustus would have sex with his wife when he can't feel anything, and it's done solely for her pleasure.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Even though they didn't start off on the best of terms, Said helps Keane be able to marry his girlfriend which he is grateful for.
  • It's All About Me: McManus is angry at Glynn for allowing Keane to get married because it makes him look bad after Glynn originally made him refuse. Even after Glynn explains that it was necessary to prevent an escalation of the conflict between the homeboys and the Italians, McManus's main concern remains his own reputation.
  • Jerkass: Devlin deprives the prisoners of basic rights like conjugal visits.
  • Kick the Dog:
    • Schillinger forces Beecher to loudly beg permission to have sex with his own wife, as well as tear up pictures of his family by threatening to have his kids killed if he doesn't.
    • Keane shoots an innocent couple on their wedding day in his crime flashback.
  • Morality Pet: Mukada makes Alvarez realise he should be there for his son.
  • Nice Guy: Mukada takes an instant interest in helping Alvarez and his family.
  • Not Me This Time: Schillinger is being truthful when he says he had nothing to do with Dino's death.
  • Papa Wolf: Ricardo is in solitary for cutting out the heart of a Haitian inmate who cut out his son's tongue.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: The Italians burn Post alive as revenge for Dino.
  • Sadistic Choice: McManus tries to exploit Even Evil Has Loved Ones by making Nino chose between vengeance for his nephew and getting to see his sick wife.
  • Undying Loyalty: Post refuses to give up Keane to the Italians and ends up dying as a result.
  • Villainous Friendship: Joey consoles Nino about Angie's death.
