Jeramie: It was Kaguragi's scheming that brought an end to Racules' rampage.
Having secretly obtained both the Lance and the Founder's Crown, he entrusts the Crown to Gira, who uses its power to form Extreme King-Ohger on his own and defeat Racules' King-Ohger ZERO!
And yet, in the meantime, Shugoddam was overrun by the Bognaarok.
...Or so the story goes.

Gira may have finally beaten Racules, but during the fight between the brothers, the Bognaarok seized upon the opportunity to take over Shugoddam! Gira sets off for the kingdom in order to take it back by force, while the other monarchs deliberate on how to protect Shugoddam's people.

Now as one, they set out to liberate the country under a new name: the Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger!

Tropes

  • Appropriated Appellation: As Rita states, the monarchs take their new team name from Tikyū's guardian deity, King-Ohger.
  • Bait-and-Switch: After having Racules at his mercy, Yanma looks like he's about to kill him... only to subject Racules to the prank he planned to make the king fall for back in #13.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Gira manages to save Kogane and Boone from some Bognaarok soldiers in the nick of time.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: When talking about Racules with Yanma, a pop up image of the king appears besides Jeramie, which Yanma somehow takes and crushes in his fist. Racules is seen making a pained expression as he does so.
  • Brick Joke: Yanma finally does his whoopee cushion prank he wanted to do since #13. This time, Jeramie is very much in with the plan as he laughs along with Yanma, clearly vindicated from his Heroic BSoD that he's had for the last two episodes now.
  • Call-Back:
    • Yanma performs the prank he tried to pull back in #13, with Jeramie's help this time. Jeramie even decides his mom would probably be alright with it this time.
    • Gira challenges Racules to Trial by Combat; the same means by which Racules dealt with him back in #8.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Gira pointing his sword at the captured Racules, deciding to put his brother through trial-by-combat once more to judge him instead.
  • Cruel Mercy: Played for Laughs. Yanma and Jeramie run into Racules in the midst of his Humiliation Conga, and instead of executing him while he's at their mercy; they choose to run the whoopee cushion prank instead.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Douga is understandably shocked when Racules turns his sword against him, aghast at his king willing to attack him in order to preserve the alliance with the Bognaarok. This destroys the loyalty Douga has for Racules.
  • Friendship Moment: Seeing Jeramie still in his mental funk, Yanma peps the man up by calling on him to aid in getting revenge towards Racules, leading to the two pulling another whoopee cushion prank on Racules. Jeramie concludes his mother would be fine with it this time (presumably since he had a hand in it) and gives Yanma a triumphant fist bump, finally making amends with each other.
  • Heel Realization: The citizens of Shugoddam notice the "traitorous tyrant king" fighting against the Bognnarok forces as if he were protecting people, wondering why Racules isn't the one doing anything about it.
  • Heroic BSoD: Jeramie is still seen lamenting all of his failures in the beginning of the episode, having webbed himself up to the ceiling. It takes Yanma asking if he wants to get some revenge on Racules that he finally snaps out of it.
  • Hostage Situation: Discussed, then Defied. Kamejim and Dethnarok try to de-motivate the King-Ohgers by threatening to kill the people of Shugoddam, their hostages. Kaguragi and Hymeno reveal that they evacuated the citizens off-screen before they arrived, robbing the bugs of their leverage.
  • Humiliation Conga: Racules goes through it and then some in this episode. First, his kingdom gets taken over by the Bognaarok, which leads to him eventually getting kicked out of the Caucasus Kabuto Castle. He then gets quickly found out by Yanma and Jeramie, with the latter webbing him up and the former pushing him into the whoopee cushion back from #13, fireworks and all. Not only that he has now lost almost all of the support from his guards and citizens.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Thanks to Yanma and Jeramie's whoopee cushion prank, Rita nullifies his arrest as they claim that Yanma and Racules are now "even" according to the law since the former got back at Racules for the attack on his kingdom. However, Gira has another plan in mind for Racules.
  • No Sympathy for Grudgeholders: Yanma and Jeramie's prank on Racules makes Rita annoyed since it serves as retaliation and thus absolves Racules of execution. Yanma thinks it's a stretch and protests, leading to the two bickering.
  • Off on a Technicality: A variation. Rita can't legally sentence Racules for his crimes because Yanma and Jeramie decided to get even with him via the whoopee cushion prank rather than leaving justice to be passed by Rita.
  • Overly Long Name: Rita formally dubs the new alliance between the six members as the "Strategic Rescue Taskforce for Extranormal Incidents in the Five Kingdoms".note  The short-hand "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" is then derived from this.
  • Revenge Is Not Justice: Downplayed. Rita declares that nothing can be done about Racules legally since Yanma and Jeramie already got revenge on the tyrant with their prank. Yanma responds that all he did was scare him somewhat and that Rita's taking their idea of neutrality too far.
  • Revenge is Sweet: Yanma and Jeramie make amends with one another not through a heart-to-heart, but by subjecting Racules to the same whoopee cushion prank Yanma tried pulling six episodes ago. It both pulls Jeramie out of his Heroic BSoD and prevents Rita from dealing with Racules legally.
  • Rousing Speech: Attempted. To delay potential executions, Suzume enlists Douga to help cause a distraction in the throne room. Douga tries appealing to Racules' ego to stoke his fighting spirit, but Racules is more concerned with keeping Dethnarok off his back and draws his sword on Douga instead, forcing the shocked guardsman to flee.
  • Running Gag: Diamond Danjim is constantly interrupted whenever he tries to introduce himself, getting a bit more of his name out there with every diversion. He finally gets the whole thing out right as Extreme King-Ohger destroys him.
  • Status Quo Is God: Downplayed. Rita explains that Racules yet again cannot be dealt with legally due to Yanma and Jeramie "getting even" with their prank. Gira decides to Take a Third Option and ends the episode by challenging Racules to another Trial by Combat.
  • Stick 'em Up: Racules gives a speech to Shugoddam's people acknowledging the Boggnarok as allies, all the while Kamejim has his staff pressed against the king's back threateningly.
  • Theme Song Power Up: The opening theme "Zenryoku King" starts playing in the final fight.
  • Throwing Your Sword Always Works: Subverted. Racules attempts to throw the OhgerCalibur Zero at Dethnaarok, yet Diamond Danjim just deflects it away.
  • Title Drop: The episode shares the same name as the show it's from, though it's a rather odd example in that it's a mid-season variation. This is justified in-episode as the team finally uniting under one banner.

Jeramie: The Bognaarok have withdrawn, and peace returns to Shugoddam once more.
But who will sit upon its now-vacant throne...?
