Their mother is literally a living printer. A space printer octopus, some might say

Narration: With any luck, their parents wouldn't try to sue.

Mikael: Ah yes, the embarrassment of having two normal, living parents. All I have to deal with are literal demons from Hell.
Remix: I knoooooow, You don't have to rub it in. 'Oh look at me, I have super cool demon parents,' ja ja, we get it. Your parents have cool jobs and aren't accountants or librarians or anything so LAME.

Mahvash: ♪Come watch your daughters and sons excel.... ♪Call it assurance that you did well. Behold! The first daughter weds heaven and hell...♪

Ellie: Seriously though, at least you've got someone comin'. After I ditched the whole 'mass-murdering hedonist' thing, my folks more or less disowned me.

Omega: YOU. ARE. FALSE. YOU. WILL. BREAK.

Josef: content warning  you lie. You are no daughter of mine. I taught my daughter to protect others. To fight against darkness and evil. Amadea would never have abandoned her family to - to fuck a devil until her mind rotted away!

Mahvash: Mikael said...that he believed. In me I mean.
Shirin: Tch. That's scraping the barrel don't you think? Still demonic revenants make passable meat shields...

Amadea: whenever you had some free time or were even just on vacation, you would still have a place to rest your wings and take a load off. And when you're all done with school, you could stay with me for a while. Because I would really like to get to know my child. If it's all the same to you.
Mikael: I think I'd like that.

Mahvash: "That's impressive? I'm used to flesh and bone constructs though..." [Between Omega wripping off her skin and then screaming] Oh!

Arthur: Looks like our darling little girl is having herself a breakdown! Guess she's gonna need some special care. And no offense, but I don't think any of you are really suited to giving it. Now why don't you all just step aside and let us get our girl some real help? Or else, well, let's just say Daddy's gonna get mad.

Mahvash: So, if you, Good Arthur and Joan, do have feeling, and want to be parents even a little, you could do Omega this favor. You would have to beg her to take back the whole renounce you thing, but a little conversation would be a good start. It is Parents' Night after all. That would fit right in. Why, Lin and Lucy still have to tell their caregivers about how they've managed to spend such time together without consummating their relationship even once.

Sam: "Excuse me for not being amused because it turns out we were risking our lives for nothing...We had nothing to use against them, nothing they cared about, no love, no morals, no pride, no greed, and with this, not even self-preservation, and we were the ones who lost before the game even started...I'd very much rather not be comforted by you, thank you very much... You don't know nearly enough to do that

Rosalinda: That it...You're not gonna ask me what the hell I was doing working for the bad guy, why I infiltrated the gym, any of that? Or are you just gonna save that for interrogation?

David: I can't say much about my ancestors, but as for me? No. I don't want to become a hero. At least, this world's current definition of a hero. I want to advance scientific research with my abilities, and provide a new source of clean, infinite power to the whole earth! Think of the possibilities!...But... my powers are still young. Underdeveloped, unfortunately. Lucy... she went through something truly horrific. Something that would break a person. I don't know how, but somehow she managed to drag herself back up onto her own two feet despite odds and is actually beginning to glue herself back together. And she's now powerful because of it. I must overtake her. That is the only way I'll know I'm ready. It's true I reconciled with her, and I'm glad I have my sister back, but nonetheless, just because my feelings have changed doesn't mean my goal has. I will become all-powerful...I will become a g-

Mahvash: Sometimes when you're born, your first test is getting up to speed in the game of don't get eaten by your siblings; then there's bend the knee and stay useful. You learn alot once you're on the divine radar, like 'ultimate power' is not a thing. The mightiest does have an edge in staying ahead, but even they are tempted to stay on their thrones and rest on their laurels. You have to keep adapting, even once you make your goal... and a nice serving of enemies always makes that process savory."

Narration: Laurie wasn't sure whether to thank Matten or punch her.

First Post: 3 June 2018

Short Synopsis: The parents of Class One visit the school and tempers flare. And that's before the gym gets blown up, and a student finds out her whole life may have been a lie... Oh, and Mahvash finishes the therapist's task.
TROPES
  • Banishing Ritual: Sort of. Mahvash banishes the unknown thing's essence from Rosalinda, painfully. Its more like targeted destruction that sending it away though. She's not the White Mage.
  • Demonic Possession: Rosalinda's main motivation. Absolute obedience has kept her the little bit of free will she does have.
  • Double Entendre: Practically all of Mahvash's lines in the fight are innuendo of some kind.
  • Existentialism: This episode touches on it heavily, from the main conflict to the brief moment between Mahvash and David.
  • Explosive Leash: The robots' real motivation, despite them saying that they don't fear death.
  • Hope Spot: The robots seem receptive to Mahvash's offer to remove the self-destruct mechanisms from their bodies, but the whole deal goes down too slowly to prevent Rosalinda from blowing them before the robots can talk.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Sam tries to convince the others that its time to fold when the robots fail to respond to Class One's threats.
  • New Era Speech: David gives one to Mahvash, among a few others. She tells him good luck.
  • Perp Sweating: As soon as Rosalinda is revealed and the possessor exorcised, Sam comes down with questions, reminding her that she can be charged with things ranging from terrorism to murder.
  • Perspective Reversal: Mahvash tries diplomacy (eventually) to reach Omega's 'parents', even appealing to their sense of parental love. The rest of Class One jumps on the dissect their brains idea.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: Samuel is still straining under his time in the Deep Woods. (Naturally, he is still unwillingly transformed and nearly sparked Universe War I).
  • Timeskip: Its been a week since the Expedition into the Deep Woods
  • Sanity Slippage: Omega.
  • Sanity Strengthening: For once, Lucy trends up instead of down. For Mahvash, she about hits noble daeva in this episode. See Turn the Other Cheek
  • Slave Mooks: The robots and Rosalinda; though its unclear if the robots are willingly serving and have their mechanisms as a 'just in case' for their boss.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: The robots take the gym sky high. Class One and their guests just so happened to have been teleported outside by Mahvash—who wasn't outside. Doesn't mean she's not still on the clock. Lucius managed to stay inside too. And unharmed.
  • The Reveal: Omega is not a modified, originally human cyborg. She's been a robot the whole time programmed for an unknown task.
  • To the Pain: Class One is pretty vocal about their torture plans until Mahvash sends the lot of them outside the building.
  • Tragic Villain: Both Rosalinda and the robot parents; though only Mahvash seems to treat them that way. The robots' sadism and behavior did not endear them to anyone.
  • Turn the Other Cheek: Mahvash is fully willing to de-leash the robots and sit down with them (before they go boom). As for Rosalinda, when last Mahvash saw the girl it was after she severally burned her. In this arc, the most she says about the incident, after going out of her way to exorcise the possessing thing from the girl, is that Rosa owed her a real present.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Rosalinda seems to have picked up this power. The Class never finds out whether she still has Spontaneous Weapon Creation.
  • Welcome Back, Traitor: Mahvash seems to have no issue with Rosalinda being back in Saint Academy.
  • Wide-Open Sandbox: What Mahvash emphasizes that the world is to David.
  • With Catlike Tread: Rosalinda fails an escape for her poor stealth. Mikael, a hunter, notices every inappropriate behavior of the 'bird'.
