Orel learns that God is in everything and everyone, including him. The power goes to his head and he leaves school and "plays God" at a hospital.
Tropes present:
- A God Am I: After learning about the concept of omnipresence, Orel comes to believe that he's a vessel for God.
- Bungled Suicide: A man jumps off a bridge into knee-deep water. Even if the broken neck would kill him, Orel has enough time to call the police and rescue him.
- Correlation/Causation Gag:
- Orel "heals" Dr. Lazyman as soon as he's called out of his chair for surgery. Orel believes that he helped him walk again.
- Nurse Bendy believes hospital patients are killed by a flatlining IV machine.
- Death Seeker: One of the hospital patients wants Orel to kill her.
- Immediate Self-Contradiction: Orel declines a hot dog because he can't feed God that "junk." So he goes to a fancy restaurant instead and orders a hot dog.
- Pull the I.V.: Orel does this to an elderly woman upon request.
- Spoof Aesop:
- Foul smells attract Satan.
- Sometimes, people die because they're not good enough Christians.
- You can only assume the role of God if you have enough of Him in you.
- Stupidly Long Filler Sound: Betty's "uh" lasts well after Orel leaves the school.
- Suicide is Shameful: It's outlawed in Moralton.
- Walk on Water: Orel invites God to do so.
