- Call-Back: Turbo got her super suit from the same garage sale that Kat Swan got her whistle and Blue Streak got his super suit. The camera quickly pans over the two of them looking at their respective items to her in the flashback.
- Chekhov's Gun: At the beginning of the episode, Adria gives Lunella an electronic bear from an outing she missed out on due to being Moon Girl. Lunella uses this in the climax to defeat Silvermane.
- Cliffhanger: After defeating Silvermane, Lunella finds that Turbo is unable to reveal her secret identity to her mom to make her rescue easier. Not wanting to cause an irreparable rift between her and the rest of the family, especially with her own mom, Lunella decides it is finally time to confess to them about her Moon Girl persona, and be ready for what happens next.
