Milo and Melissa share their most embarrassing stories, but Zack refuses.

- Artist and the Band: Zack, for the Lumberzacks. (It's right there in the name.)
- Badly Battered Babysitter: Subverted with Milo's previous babysitter, Veronica, who was smart enough and resourceful enough to take care of Milo when he was a baby and a toddler. She carries around an Awesome Backpack that has everything to handle any disasters, which she would later give to Milo. Out of all the babysitters Milo had, she was the last babysitter standing, and the only one with the ability to survive these kinds of things.
- Boy Band: It's revealed that Zack used to be in a boy band called the "Lumberzacks".
- Brick Joke: After Zack and Melissa are given some of Milo's clothes, Zack mentions that he found a dollar in the pocket. Later, after Milo and Melissa find the Lumberzacks video, he tells them to turn it off, offering the same dollar.
- Chekhov's Gun: Remember that song that astronaut was listening to back in "The Note", who could have imagined that song was sung by Zack and that he used to be in a boy band.
- Crazy-Prepared: Veronica. She's the only known person able to counteract Murphy's Law.
- Daydream Surprise: Melissa revealing she's a robot turns out to be Zack's daydream, and then Melissa's daydream.
- Here We Go Again!: At the end of the episode, Diogee sits on the pizza, so they have to order another.
- Lethal Chef: Zig-zagged with Milo. You expect that Milo of all people to create a disastrous meal but he revealed that he took cooking classes (until the ovens blew up). He made macaroni and cheese that came out just fine until he put too much yeast into it causing the meal to expand and cover the house in mac and cheese.
- Mundane Solution:
- Veronica's bike is totalled due to avoiding a wave of pistachios, so she simply turns the humble diet soda volcano into a rudimentary thruster system.
- When Zack refuses to tell about his boy band days, Melissa just looks it up on the internet.
- Oh, Crap!: Melissa and Zack's reaction when Milo tells them he's going to cook for them.
- Old Shame: In-universe, Zack is really embarrassed to admit that he used to be in a boy band called the "Lumberzacks".
- Shout-Out: When Veronica leaves, in her faux-knight uniform, it's on an ostrich.
- Visual Pun: Zack 'badgers' Melissa to tell her secret by poking her with a stuffed badger.
