- Art Shift: Parker becomes stop-motion when inside Russell's stomach.
- Bait-and-Switch Comment: Angus is upset with Parker —- for hiding in Russell's stomach during her dentist appointment. Parker doesn't even tell Angus about the shipwreck until the end of the episode.
- Big "NO!": Parker does this after they realize that adults are funding Big Tooth.
- Conspiracy Theorist: Lily shows a presentation about how "Big Tooth" is gaslighting people into thinking they have bad teeth so they can sell more dental hygiene products.
- Dagwood Sandwich: Angus is shown eating a tall sandwich at the start of the episode.
- Dark and Troubled Past: This episode shows more of Parker's depressing backstory. Everyone hated them for being a rain cloud...even though rain clouds are supposed to rain. It's implied that Parker becoming a nasty storm cloud was because of everyone antagonizing them. And then, it's revealed that Parker caused Angus to crash into Mount Middlemost.
- The Dentist Episode: For the first half of the episode, it plays out like an ordinary dentist-centered episode, with Russell being due for a dentist appointment. Then, Parker goes inside Russell's stomach and things get darker from there.
- Depraved Dentist: Lily makes out dentists to be evil in her conspiracy theory.
- Disappointed in You: Angus is disappointed in Parker...for hiding in Russell's stomach during her dentist appointment.
- Everybody Knew Already: Angus already knew that Parker was responsible for the shipwreck. They shouted their name during the event and even put it on their resume (which was presumably forgotten about).
- Gilligan Cut: Parker proclaims that if Angus wants to take Russell to the dentist, he'll have to go through them first. Cut to the trio in the waiting room, where Parker says they can't believe that Angus walked right through them.
- Gross Up Closeup: We get a pretty disgusting closeup of Lily's supposedly "good" teeth.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Parker is horrified at their past actions and thinks that Angus will never forgive them.
- The Tooth Hurts: Lily cracks her tooth on candied kielbasa.
- Wham Episode: Parker finds out that they’re the reason Angus got shipwrecked atop Mt. Middlemost.
