They’re All Named Reggie: After delivering mail in Purpleton, the gang finds a Baby Reggie stowaway that Parker insists on returning home.

"They’re All Named Reggie" provides examples of:

  • Babies Make Everything Better: The Baby Reggie. Though, it causes the Middlemost Post gang to get separated.
  • The Cameo: Angus briefly turns into his voice actor John DiMaggio.
  • Involuntary Group Split: Angus, Parker, and Russell all get separated from each other after getting lost in the mall.
  • One-Steve Limit: It's right there in the title. Everyone living in Purpleton shares the name Reggie.

Same Ol’ Same: When a famous Rapper visits the Mountain, Parker gives him a new zest for life.

  • An Aesop: Always try new things, don't repeat the same old thing over and over again.
  • Celebrity Is Overrated: Old Skool feels this way, especially with how much often people request him to perform "Same Ol' Same".
  • Creative Closing Credits: The end credits for this episode feature Angus dancing along to the titular song.
  • Fangirl: Angus towards Old Skool, who even let out his girly scream during the "Dope New Song" sequence.
  • Good-Times Montage: Parker shows Old Skool the whole mountain in a series of montage, which inspires him to write a new song.
