Heero makes himself at home at Relena's boarding school, while planning to ensure Gundam Wing does not fall into the wrong hands. But one of the other Operation Meteor pilots, Duo Maxwell and Gundam Deathscythe, has targeted it for recovery. Meanwhile, Relena tries to decode the secrets of the new kid at her school.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- The Ace: At the boarding school, Heero shocks the other students with his prowess at Equestrian sports and fencing.
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Heero commits wire fraud with the help of a computer, hacking the boarding school's systems to pay off his tuition and board, and also give himself some spending money.Heero: Financial status of Heero Yuy: No problem.
- Big Damn Heroes: Subverted. Duo shoots Heero when he's targeting Relena. But to his (and Heero's) bewilderment, Relena stops Duo from apprehending Heero, and even ties a makeshift bandage around his wounded arm.
- Driven to Suicide: Again, Heero tries to destroy Gundam Wing and off himself, and at the end of the episode he's floating face-down in the harbor. As the next episode shows us, it didn't quite work. Again.
- I'll Kill You!: Heero elevates his threat from the first episode here, pointing a gun at Relena. He is interrupted when Duo shoots his arm, preventing him from pulling the trigger.
- Move Along, Nothing to See Here: Duo uses a flare to try to keep Relena from seeing his team salvaging Gundam Wing.
- Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises: Relena gets this when Heero aims his gun at her, having found him preparing to destroy Gundam Wing once more.
