Recap / Lost Girl S 2 E 15 Table For Fae

Go To

Kenzi is stuck dealing with the Morrigan for Nate's life, called in by Ryan to make up for being a pretentious douche. Hale brings Bo in to investigate murdered hitchhikers.

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Bo finds it impossible to break up with Ryan at the end.
  • Big Sister Bully: The elder of the Dark Fae Serket sisters, Hessa, bullies her younger sister Lana into abusing her powers on humans so she can get rich.
  • Deal with the Devil: Kenzi has to deal with the Morrigan... she promises her a favor, to be named at a later date.
  • The Dog Bites Back: After a lifetime of being bullied and mistreated by her older sister Hessa, as well as having to use her powers to drain life from people (which as Trick notes, is against everything Serkets stand for), at Bo's urging, the younger Serket Lana drains the life out of her sister.
  • Evil Mentor/Trickster Mentor: Ryan is none too subtly seducing Bo to the Dark Fae, by promising her no rules and bringing her beautiful blondes as presents.
  • I Ate WHAT?!: Kenzi is not thrilled to learn the first course at the restaurant Ryan took them to was tripe.
  • The Immodest Orgasm: At the beginning of the episode, Kenzi and Nate come home early, and walk in to hear Bo having sex loudly with Ryan in her room. They both joke about their enthusiasm.
  • Interrupted Intimacy: Kenzi and Nate arriving early causes Ryan to break off having sex with Bo. They excuse themselves before too long.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: The dark fae draining the kids (and Bo) get themselves out of a sticky situation by pointing out Ryan's dark allegiance, starting a bicker between him and Bo. Then Bo turns the tables by starting a fight between the dark sisters.
  • No Sense of Personal Space: Ryan has some boundary issues. Following the interrupted sex, just after Kenzi and Nate walk out:
    Bo: Wow. That was awkward.
Ryan: I'm sorry, should I have asked them to join us?
Bo: And awkward just turned to creepy.
  • Oh, Crap!: Of course the agent Ryan called was the Morrigan. Who else?
  • Red Herring: Initially, Bo and Kenzi assume their suspect in the killing of backpackers is a blonde girl who was frequently seen with the ones who went missing just before they disappeared. When Bo and Dyson finally catch her, it turns out she's human, not Fae, and the only thing she's guilty of is being a bit of a Gold Digger.
  • Silver Fox: Bo looks good older; Ryan agrees.
  • Threeway Sex: At the end of the episode, Ryan gives Bo a "present"-the beautiful hostess. The pair make out and take off their bras quickly, then Bo invites Ryan to join in, with the episode ending just as he agrees.
  • Vampiric Draining: The Serket sisters drain life energy out of young down and outs so they can sell that vitality to wealthy clients.
