"Shaky, Rattle and Roll"note : Leo becomes fearful of earthquakes.

"Shaky, Rattle and Roll" contains the following tropes:

  • An Aesop: It's not how you fall down, it's how you get up that matters.
  • Comical Nap Drool: Luna drools when she's asleep, and makes a puddle on the ground.
  • Elvis Impersonator: Shaky has a pompadour, a slight southern drawl, and likes drinking strawberry shakes. He sounds more like Elvis when he sings. He even wears a white jumpsuit at one point and says "Thank you, thank you very much."
  • Loud Sleeper Gag: Luna's snoring is loud enough to make the ground shake.
  • Mistaken for Quake: When Leo runs outside, he experiences what he thinks is another earthquake, but it was actually just Luna's loud snoring.
  • Scale Model Destruction: Leo works hard on his model of the Golden Gate Bridge created entirely with chocolate bars, only for an earthquake to make it collapse.
  • Screen Shake: The screen shakes when the earthquake occurs.
  • Shaking the Rump: Shaky shakes his tail feather during the song.
  • Shout-Out: Shaky's house is full of Elvis Presley memorabilia.
  • Waxing Lyrical: Shaky says that there's a "whole lotta shakin' goin' on."

"Love and Harmony": Carmen aims to resolve Leo and Andy's fight.

"Love and Harmony" contains the following tropes:

  • The Alleged House: Love and Harmony's house is dingy, dilapidated, and clearly has not been shown enough love in the past few decades.
  • Animal Jingoism: During the song, a cat is shown fighting a dog.
  • Barefoot Cartoon Animal: Neither Love nor Harmony wear any shoes. This is significant because it shows that they are hippies.
  • Big Ball of Violence: The fighting dog and cat form a fight cloud.
  • Feud Episode: All of the kids get to hold the Jerkass Ball, volleying uncharacteristically mean insults towards each other. Carmen sets out to find a hippie music duo called Love and Harmony, who she thinks will help them resolve their conflict peacefully.
  • Furry Confusion: The song states that "We're putting human back into humanity," even though the characters are all animals.
  • Hippie Name: Love and Harmony's names are just that — Love and Harmony.
  • Jade-Colored Glasses: In Love's words, the more she and Harmony saw the world, the less they believed in the songs they were singing, which is how they became so grumpy.
  • Jerkass Ball: Andy and Leo suddenly become massive jerks in this episode. Downplayed with Carmen, as while she was impatient with the duo, she also actively makes an effort to put things right.
  • Love Freak: The titular duo were this in the 1960s, trying to use their songs to spread, well, love and harmony. However, when they saw how horrible the world was, they stopped believing in their songs and became shut-ins. Carmen, however, still believes in love, and uses the Love and Harmony song to restore several broken relationships.
  • Meaningful Rename: Harmony renamed herself "Miss Crabby Pants" to show that she's become quite grouchy.
  • New-Age Retro Hippie: At first, Love and Harmony are subversions, since they are jaded by the world despite still dressing like hippies. When Carmen uses The Power of Love, they decide to continue to spread love, even if it helps only a few people.
  • Never My Fault: The kids all blame each other for their conflict, and refuse to take responsibility for their individual actions.
  • The Power of Love: Carmen uses the power of love to not only repair Andy and Leo's friendship, but also Love and Harmony's relationship. Back in the day, Love and Harmony's songs didn't fix the world because Harmony stopped believing in what she was preaching. But when Carmen sung it, it worked because she believed in the power of love. The power of love even fixed Love and Harmony's house!
  • Round Hippie Shades: When Magic Globe explains what hippies are, a bunch of hippies can be seen wearing round shades.
  • Sibling Rivalry: Love and Harmony are a sister duo who stopped getting along when their songs failed to change the world.
  • Sickeningly Sweet: Andy and Leo think that the Love and Harmony song is 'mushy.'
  • Third-Party Peacekeeper: Andy and Leo keep fighting, so Carmen tries to mediate between the two. Eventually, she brings them back together with the Love and Harmony song.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: Luna has this reaction when she witnesses Andy, Carmen, and Leo all being grumpy.
Luna: Boy... uh... you three sure are a happy bunch.
  • Well, Excuse Me, Princess!: Carmen yells at Andy and Leo to stop making noise, as she is trying to listen to her favorite record. Then Andy goes "Oh no, did we disturb your highness's private record listening party?"
