After drying off from last chapter, Luz goes on a delivery run and discovers that she might be the Chosen One.

- Bad Liar: Luz's attempts to counter Amity's rude remarks by lying about her magical skill fall flat, as the latter smugly dismantles every lie Luz throws at her.
- For Want Of A Nail: Unlike in canon, here Luz defeats Adegast herself, by turning him into stone via Deadly Gaze while Eda and King avert their eyes.
- Immediate Sequel: Takes place immediately after the last chapter, with Luz being sent on a delivery run after drying off from getting soaked.
- In Spite of a Nail: In spite of everything Luz has already been through and experienced, Luz still falls for Adegast's "Chosen One" narrative.
- Oh, Crap!: Adegast has this reaction when, via his illusion spell he tries putting her under, he finds out that Luz is the princess. And he had just pissed her off.
